Nichelle Nichols, Lt. Uhura on ‘Star Trek,’ dies at age of 89

Nichelle Nichols, who broke boundaries for Black women in Hollywood when she played correspondences official Lt. Uhura on the first "Star Trek" TV series, has kicked the bucket at 89 years old.
