Paul McCartney honors brother-in-law John Eastman after his death aged 83

John Eastman, the previous brother-in-law of Paul McCartney, died at age 83 of pancreatic disease, the previous Beatle reported via social media on Thursday.

"My dear brother-in-law, John Eastman, has passed away. Having known one another for north of 50 years it is an incredibly miserable time for me, and our families," McCartney composed on Instagram close by a photograph of the two.

Eastman was the sibling of Paul's late spouse Linda Eastman McCartney, who died of bosom malignant growth in 1998.

"John was an extraordinary man. One of the most delightful and savviest individuals I have had the best of luck to have known in my life. Besides the fact that he helped me hugely in my transactions as my legal advisor yet as a companion he was difficult to beat," the music legend composed.

"There is quite a lot more that can be said to describe his mind blowing characteristics, however words can barely portray his energy forever and our love for this astonishing man. He will be profoundly missed however consistently held dear in the hearts of we who knew and adored him," he added.

Eastman, alongside his dad Lee Eastman, was likewise McCartney's lawyer, and had been with him through the separation of The Beatles and his performance vocation.

In 1984, McCartney let Playboy know that he was so appreciative to the Eastmans. "The music distributing I own is astounding. Lovely. I owe everything to Linda's father Lee Eastman and her sibling John."
